Misbah Ul Haq has been in good form in last few matches for Pakistan. He also scored good runs in warm up games. He was also in battle to captaincy together with Shahid Afridi which later won by Shahid Afridi. He is getting a good touch and his form is getting good with every match.

It is strange that 36 year old batsman is playing his first world cup. He has missed 2003 and 2007 world cup as Pakistan had Inzaman Ul Haq, Younis Khan and Muhammad Yousaf in their middle order. In 2007’s T-20 world cup he had nearly won the world cup for Pakistan.

Misbah said that when you are scoring runs then you start believing yourself and that’s the height of confidence. He added that the combination of team is good and there is no issue in batting order numbering. All batsmen are playing their cricket. Kamran Akmal who opened the inning for Pakistan is batting at number 3 positions.

Misbah said that 200 plus runs win has boosted their confidence level. He added that the game against Sri Lanka on Saturday will be the most important game. They are looking forward to win that game. He added that the match is very important for both sides and Pakistan will go to win it against the home side with full support with them.
