Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has favored the use of more UDRS in the later stage of world cup 2011. Afridi said that the system is doing well for most of the teams and it should be increased to the teams wants it. Indian captain MS Dhoni is not happy with the system but Afridi said that it is doing well.

In the match against Canada they got wicket on DRS and won the match after falling of that wicket. Afridi said that the system has minimized the errors in the decision of umpires and it should be continue to do the good work. He is fully satisfied with the UDRS performance.

Shahid Afridi has taken 14 wickets so far in the world cup. Two times he got 5 wickets in the match. So far he is the leading wicket taker in the world cup.

Shahid said that the consistency in the team is important as team cannot depend upon 1 player and every over should come into play and perform their part. Pakistan team coach Waqar Younis said that Pakistan team need to work harder in the knock out stage.

He added that other bowlers should also come forward and pick up wickets. He added that he is confident that they will perform well in the later matches. Pakistan is schedule to play against New Zealand in the next match.
