Abdul Razzaq blitz with five massive sixes steered Pakistan to a four-wicket victory over England in the second and final Twenty20 International to square up the two-match series at the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan in chase of a fighting total reeling to 78 for 5 but Razzaq landed with sound mood blasted 46 off 18 balls. With Pakistan needing 17 runs from 12 balls with six wickets in hand, but magnificent unbeaten blitz by Razzaq finishing off with authority smacking the required score with the help of two bulky sixes off debutant Ajmal Shahzad.
Earlier England asked to bat first off to a wobbly start with Joe Denly – who is struggling to find runs, once again failed to impress as a superb delivery by Yasir Arafat nipped back in sharply to dislodged his timber for 5 off 10 balls.
Kevin Pietersen – who in his previous match found his form back with the bat, repeated his impressive signifier once again, cracked a brilliant 62 runs off 40 balls with four boundaries and three sixes. He put on 98 runs for the second wicket with opener Jonathan Trott to helped England to post a challenging 148 for 6.
