Pakistani cricketers Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Amir and former Pakistani captain Salman Butt present in London in front of British judge. The Judge has ordered that the players will be present in court and their trail will be started from May 20th.
Three Pakistani players were accused for having involved in the spot fixing and taking illegal money from agent Mazher Majeed for bowling illegal bowls. ICC tribunal has already declared the players as corrupt and they also enforced ban on these players.
Trio presented in the court and it was decided by the court that the players are fully free to travel to Pakistan and they were bailed out. There was no detention order has been passed against the players.
The lawyers of the players and PCB’s legal advisor were also present in the court hearing. It was also said that the character of all three players are clean and there are allegation on the players so nothing could be said about their reputation.
All three players had filed an appeal against the decision of ICC regarding the ban. They had filed an appeal in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland. ICC has already stated that 5 year minimum ban is not just.
