Pakistan’s coach Waqar Younis was happy after the performance of Pakistani openers. He said that the performance of Pakistan team was excellent but the tag of Favorite is not good for them. He said that team is focusing on every match and at the moment after the win in quarter final they are looking for their next match. He added that so far they are not thinking of playing the final their focus is all on the Semi Final match.

Waqar admitted the pressure during the match against West Indies. He said that they came after beating Australia and playing against West Indies the week side so there was pressure on them as people were expecting good from them. He added that the wicket of Gayle adds to their confidence and they got wickets afterwards.

Waqar said that the bowling was not a problem for them. The real problem is batting and that looked solving in the last match. Over 100 runs opening partnership from Pakistani openers make things simple for them.

He added that the match winning performance from Pakistan came on the Pakistan Day. He said it was sweet present from Pakistan team to the nation. He said that the prayers of entire nation bring win for them.
