Former Pakistani test cricketers declared poor fielding as the big reason of defeat of green shirts in India VS Pakistan 2nd semi final ICC World Cup 2011. Former captain Imran Khan said that at this stage of mega event, the team becomes victorious which faces the pressure skillfully. Indian batsmen played a bad game, their target could be reached over 300 runs if they would play carefully but good bowling of Wahab Riaz and Saeed Ajmal prevented it. In the same way if Pakistani players would field well, the target could not exceed over 220 runs which were easy to achieve.

According to Imran poor fielding caused the defeat of Pakistan. No team can win the World Cup with such a bad fielding, 4 catches of Tendulkar were dropped. Similarly batting order was not good; Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq should have send at 3rd & 4th positions respectively. Both of players have played big innings in the past, if they would prevent the fall of wickets at that time it would be easy to achieve the target later on. He further said that Muhammad Hafeez lost his wicket due to an irresponsible short and Afridi did not take batting power play at the right time in India VS Pakistan 2nd semi-final.

Aamir Sohail Comments on India vs Pakistan 2nd semi-final

Former opener batsman Aamir Sohail said that Pakistani team has repeated the mistakes which were pointed out by former cricketers. After getting of 2 wickets in one over of Wahab Riaz, Indian team should be bowled out before 200 runs but dropping the catches proved expensive.

Abdul Qadir declared unreliable Pakistani batting as cause of defeat in India vs Pakistan 2nd semi-final

Former test cricketer Abdul Qaadir said that Afridi-XI has fulfill their promise by reaching in semi-final, if Muhammad Hafeez would stay at wicket , it would be easy to chase the target, similarly they could be out Indian team very soon if they would field well in India vs Pakistan 2nd semi-final. He further said that Pakistani batting is not reliable; this is proved in India vs Pakistan 2nd semi-final.
