Pakistan team’s captain Shahid Afridi said that he is proud on Pakistan’s team performance in the world cup. He was captaining the team which was going through difficult phase. Pakistan was down as they were suffering from controversies.

There were no expectations from Pakistan side that they will even qualify for the quarter final. Pakistani team top in their group and then they go through the quarter final comprehensively. They played against India in the semi final match. India was the hot favorite team and they won the match against Pakistan.

Afridi said that Pakistan team was struggling in batting department throughout the tournament. He added that it was great performance from Pakistani bowlers but there was no good partnership from Pakistan team. Opening partnership of 44 runs was the best for Pakistan team.

Afridi Apologize To Nation

Afridi said that he is proud of his team and boys had done a good join to reach semi final. He said that there was lot of expectations from the Pakistan team to win the match but they could not win it. Afridi added that he is happy with team performance and youngsters have done a good job for the team. Afridi also said ‘SORRY’ to the nation for not winning against India.
