Sri Lankan team Vice Captain Mahela Jayawardene said that Sri Lankan team is confident of having win in the world cup final match against India. India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the hosts of world cup 2011. Two Asian hosts have reached the final and it is confirm that cup is coming to Pakistan.

Mahela Jayawardene said that team is really motivated and they are looking to get win over India and get the world cup. India got defeated in 2003 world cup final against Australia and Sri Lanka was defeated in 2007 against Australia. The match was affected by rain and Australia got advantage over Sri Lanka.

Mahela Jayawardene added that Sri Lanka is going well in the tournament and boys are also exited with their performance. They won the match with brilliant approach in the semi final and now its time to win in final.

Sri Lanka got defeated against Pakistan in the group stage by 11 runs. This was their only defeat so far in the world cup. Mahela Jayawardene said that team has good chat between them and ever player is confident of getting win for Sri Lanka. It will be last match for Murlitharan and he wants a win for Sri Lanka.
