West Indies tour of two test matches, five ODIs and a T-20 match is starting from 18^th April will be without Shahid Afridi. Pakistan captain for the world cup Shahid Afridi will not go with the team in the tour. He wants to have rest after the world cup as they are going to get three weeks time before the tour.

Shahid said that he is not ready for the tour and need time to get his thoughts back. Pakistan had tough and tight schedule before the world cup and it was really tiring one. They had long series in England then South Africa series in UAE. Before the world cup they were in New Zealand for long tour.

Shahid Afridi needs time to get back in cricket. Afridi is leading wicket taker in the world cup and he led the team with full courage. He was look as a captain and took his team to semi final.

Shahid Afridi Future

PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt has also said that Shahid Afridi is not in right frame of mind to go in the semi final. Kamran Akmal is also not selected for the test matches but he will be in T-20 and ODIs. Shahid Afridi will continue to play in T-20 and ODIs in future.
