Pakistan team played world cup with Waqar Younis as their coach. Waqar Younis done a good job as a coach and there was great increase in bowling department efficiency due to Waqar Younis efforts. He has done hard word to make Pakistani team to qualify for the semi final match. He performed good coaching techniques to lift Pakistan team.

Waqar Younis actively participated with the team practice. Pakistan was very down team before the world cup but Shahid Afridi and Waqar Younis lifted the team and one good job for Pakistan. They lost only two matches in the world cup. Pakistan was in group A and they were on the top position in the group.

There was a lot of appreciation for players and rewards were also given to the players. Pakistan team management was put a side after the world cup performance. Waqar Younis said that Pakistan team management should be appreciated just like players. He added that team management has the same right as players have to get appreciation and rewards after the series win.

Waqar Younis added that team management should get appreciation on win because they get criticized after the loss of series so they have a full right to get rewards after good performance. According to current rules the award amount distributed among the players. The team management gets a share equal to a player and that share distributed among all staff members.

Waqar Younis Suggestion

If a player wins an individual award then he keeps 25% of it and rest is distributed among other players. Waqar Younis demanded that change of awarding system and he also want the same pattern of award for team management as players have. Waqar Younis added that team management also have contributed to the team’s series win as players have in it.
