Former Pakistani fast bowler and current coach of Pakistan team Waqar Younis have tribute the fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar for his good fast bowling. Waqar Younis said that Shoaib Akhtar was a good fast bowler and he has served the country well. Waqar Younis said that it will not be easy for the Pakistan team to get the replacement of Shoaib in short run.

Waqar Younis added that fast bowler has a name in the world cricket and he was name of aggression. He also said that Shoaib had an impact on the opponents and he was fear factor for the opponents. Shoaib had announced his retirement from the cricket after the match against Kiwis. He went for some runs and that made him dishearten and he announced retirement but showed intentions to play world cup.

PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said that there is no culture in Pakistan cricket about the retirement of senior players. He added that players decided by themselves about their retirement and then board take action on it.

Shoaib was not included in the team against India in the semi final. He was short of three wickets for his 247 wickets in ODI. He said in an interview that he desire Pakistan win not completion of his wickets. Pakistan unfortunately lost the match by 29 runs in the end.

Shoaib Akhtar difficult To Replace: Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis was retired after 2003 world cup. He was captain of the team. He said that new players are introducing in the team and they will now plan for the next world cup. Pakistan is now again in rebuilding stage. Waqar Younis is optimist that opportunities to new players in the upcoming series will help them a lot. Waqar Younis declares Shoaib as a class bowler who is difficult to replace.
