Pakistan team is schedule to play in the West Indies for ODI and test match series and Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan have been axed from the west indies team for the fist two ODI’s of the 5 matches ODI series. It is not decided that Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan will play other ODI matches.

Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan out from the team and world cup injury holder Bravo came in the squad. K Pollard will miss the series as he is in India for IPL. The exclusion of senior players including Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan indicates that West Indies board is looking for fresh blood in the team.

After getting impressive defeat from Pakistan it was decided to introduce new young players in the team. West Indies board stated that according to new policy to introduce young players in the team they didn’t stick with Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan.

West Indies board also said that they are looking to find out the new combination of players that will go on for next 5 to 10 years. There are some familiar face sin the squad but the policy is to introduce more new faces in the team. West Indies team is looking for K pollard in the long run as he is very good player for West Indies.

Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan will not find their place in the team but Pollard is utility player and he committed to play for t the team in long run. West Indies squad consist of Darren Sammy (capt), Dwayne Bravo (vice-captain), Devendra Bishoo, Darren Bravo, Kirk Edwards, Anthony Martin, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach , Andre Russell, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Devon Smith, Devon Thomas (wk).
