After the allegation put up by the former Sri Lankan captain Hashan Tilakaratne about the match fixing there is talking about the fixing matter everywhere. He said that Sri Lankan cricket is under match fixing and there will be a time in few years that they will cross Pakistani players in match fixing. After the allegation put on by him there are many Sri Lankan players who are question about the reality of the allegation.
Former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara said that the recent allegation by Tikaratne is of no truth and there is no reality in this. He added that if the allegations are true then he should rove them true. Tilakaratne has played 200 ODI matches for Pakistan and he also represents Sri Lanka in 83 Test matches. He alleged that Sri Lankan team is in match fixing since 1992.
After resigning from the captaincy of Sri Lankan team Sangakkara, captain of the Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League. He said that if the allegations are true then Tilakaratne should word with ICC to solve this issue. He added that the fixing matter will not be tolerated by ant country.
After getting defeat in two consecutive finals former Sri Lankan captain has resigned from captaincy. He said that for the betterment of cricket match fixing should be eliminated. Sangakkara said that Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) and the home authorities will have to work together to solve the matter for the safe guard of cricket.
He added that there is no such reality that players are involve in any type of fixing and all is wrong and just allegations. There are many doubts created by Tilakaratne about the losing team of world cup 2011 world cup. He also demanded the inquiry of the matter.
