After the success of IPL ever cricket playing nation is looking to have the league of same kind. Sri Lankan Cricket board is also looking for the league of same kind. They are approaching players and also looking for their positive response. Sri Lanka is looking to add players from different cricket playing nations.
Players from Australia, Pakistan, India and South Africa will also include in the league. The degree of international participation in the league will add flavor to it. According to information Sri Lankan board is approaching some international players. There are some information that they have approached Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Yusuf Pathan and Shahid Afridi, and most of Sri Lanka’s leading cricketers.
The salaries of the league will be on the lower side and according to estimate there will be the salary of 30,000$ for each player and there will be different slabs for different players. In the IPL this is the per match fee of a player.
There are many players who are willing to get the participation in the league but they have to much busy schedule that some of them might not have time to get in to the league. There will be many Sri Lankan players who will get the chance to enter in the international arena. The step taken by the Sri Lankan board is in favor of players but due to too much cricket they will find some difficulties in organizing it.
