Mohsin Hasan Khan said that he was having bad form and due to which it was not possible for selection team to select him for world cup squad. He added that there was no place for Fawad Alam as they want experience and youth in team and there are many young cricketers who are performing well in domestic.

In the last eight inning he has 4 single digits scored and also had two half centuries. Kamran Akmal has been selected in squad after performing well in domestic while Shoaib Malik was out as he didn’t provide solid clarifications to PCB integrity committee.

PCB has taken strict action against player who was found suspicious in their activities and Kamran Akmal came back in team after clearing himself. PCB asked Kamran Akmal for clearance and he provides it to get back in team. Alam was out of team as he didn’t perform well specially in last two ODI’s in Dubai.

Twenty20 squad includes Shahid Afridi , Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shahzad, Younis Khan, Umar Akmal, Fawad Alam, Adnan Akmal (wk), Saeed Ajmal, Abdur Rehman, Abdul Razzaq, Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhtar, Tanvir Ahmed, Sohail Tanvir and Wahab Riaz.

Test squad includes Misbah-ul-Haq , Mohammad Hafeez, Taufeeq Umar, Younis Khan, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Adnan Akmal (wk), Saeed Ajmal, Abdur Rehman, Umar Gul, Tanvir Ahmed, Sohail Tanvir and Wahab Riaz.

Kamran Akmal is not able to find his place in the team despite of clearance from ICC and scored double century in the domestic cricket. Spinner Danish Keneria is also not selected. Shoaib Malik is out from Pakistan team since England’s tour and he also failed to get selection in Pakistan team. Muhammad Yousaf is also not selected and Wahab Riaz will be along with the team depends upon his fitness.

Pakistan is schedule to play three T-20, two test and six ODI matches in New Zealand. The series will start from 23rd December.

There were 3 T-20 matches between Pakistan and South Africa and Pakistan won 2 of them. This is the fourth contest between these two sides. This is an important match as the income of the match will be distributed in the charity cause for the affected people of Pakistan.

People are coming to the ground as they wants to help Pakistani people who get homeless after the disastrous flood. Match will start at 9 pm Pakistan’s local time. Muhammad Yousaf also unable to perform and got out early in his inning. Young batsmen Asad Shafiq and Fawad Alam stabilized Pakistan inning and both put together 64 runs. After Asad got out on 40 Umar Akmal early departures put pressure on Pakistan side.

Shahid Afridi was looking good on the wicket and he also played some handsome shots but he was run out when he was required by his team. Ball hit his bat and diverted to wicket. Fawad Alam got out after scoring 64 runs. Razzak was looking good in the end of the inning but he also fall a trap of England strategy and got catch out on boundary. In the 50th over Pakistan were all out on 241 and sets 242 runs target for England.

Before that England bated first after Pakistan asked them to bat first and scored 275 runs. Saeed Ajmal took five wickets for Pakistan but he was a bit expensive. Kamran Akmal and Muhammad Hafeez provide Pakistan with good start and they batted together for 62 runs. Kamran Akmal made half century and it was first for him during the series. Hafeez got out after scoring 30 runs. Fawad Alam and Umer Akmal also contributed to Pakistan’s total. Umer Akmal made quick 43 on 33 balls. Asad Shafiq also played good short 19 runs inning on 10 balls.

At the end of the inning Pakistan lost wickets and it hurdles them in achieving the total of 275 runs. Captain Shahid Afridi also got out when he was needed to deliver for Pakistan. It was good fight from Pakistan side and team was looked as fighting to win. It indicates that rest of four matches will be quite entertaining.

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi want win to settle down his team. Muhammad Irfan is a new bowler added in Pakistan team. He has very good height and it is expected that he will take advantage of his height. Muhammad Irfan and Shoaib Akhtar opened bowling for Pakistan. Muhammad Irfan was scored 15 runs in his first over. Umer Gul came as a second change in bowling and he bowled good over. Shoaib Akhtar also bowled his fist three over foe just 4 runs.

England is playing with PD Collingwood, AJ Strauss, SM Davies, EJG Morgan, MH Yardy, GP Swann, SCJ Broad, TT Bresnan, RS Bopara, Anderson and IJL Trott. Both openers SM Davies and Strauss are looking good. Especially Strauss is middling the bowl very well. Pakistani captain after winning the toss chose fielding first as he wants to take full advantage of conditions but so far after 5.3 over England made 33 runs without any wicket. Due to rain match is limited to 41 over each inning.

Injured Umer Gul is also retained in the team. According to tam management he is getting fitness and before ODI’s and T-20 matches he will get fitness. Former captain younus Khan is not included in the team. According to information he is not cleared by PCB chairman Ijaz Butt.

“Lack of form, lack of performance,” dropped Malik from Pakistan’s squad. Shoaib Malik remains part of Pakistan team due to his performances. But from last few months he is not performing for Pakistan. Malik average for last year was 20 if century against India in champion’s trophy excludes from his performance.

For the visitors, left handers Fawad Alam (77 from 145 balls with 10 fours) and Imran Farhat (52 from 103 balls with 7 fours) came good. Crucial middle order batsmen Skipper Mohammad Yousuf and Umar Akmal had a very brief stay in the middle scoring 21 each. Reserve wicket keeper Sarfraz Ahmed gave some respectability to the Pakistani score in the end with a cameo of 37.
